At the top end of elite Motorsport there is large access to lots of engineering resources with financial backing. This is why formula one has become one of the leading sports to produce equipment to help people affect by the Corona virus.
Mercedes produce Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Mercedes has been working with the University College of London (UCL) to produce devices that helps assist breathing for the Pitlane project, this was announced by Skysports.
The article says that one thousand (CPAP) devices are being produced every day.

Pitlane is a project that has aims of having an impact further than the sport of Formula One racing. It is compromised of seven F1 teams which are all UK based. They are as follows:
- Aston Martin Red Bull Racing
- BWT Racing Point F1 Team
- Haas F1 Team
- McLaren F1 Team
- Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team
- Renault DP World F1 Team
- ROKiT Williams Racing
The Pitlane project shows how engineering experts across the F1 field have come together to use their resources and finances to create medical equipment in this pandemic.
