Government policy on exercise concerning COVID-19

Exercise has been made one of the essentials that allow people to go outside.

It is government guidelines in the UK that people are allowed to go outside for exercise for one time per day which involves walking, running or cycling. Walking dog’s is another accepted form of exercise, however, dog owners have been warned to keep their dog’s away from others in public and have been told to keep them on a lead if necessary.

People are only allowed to go out to exercise with one other member from their household. long and unnecessary routes should be avoided and exercising should be kept local.

Keeping fit is especially important during this time to fight against COVID-19 and keep healthy.

It is also important from peoples mental health to get outside for a breath of fresh air from staying inside.
